To accommodate the massive influx of pilgrims, the administration established a temporary district in Prayagraj, which remained functional for four months.
For the convenience of the devotees, 30 pontoon bridges were constructed, along with temporary housing, sanitation facilities, water supply, and the establishment of 11 makeshift hospitals. A strong security arrangement was implemented, with the deployment of 50,000 security personnel who received special training. Crowd management was enhanced using over 2,500 surveillance cameras, some of which were equipped with artificial intelligence technology.
